The small sheltie made her way through the street, the normal dirt and grime covering her what could be silky fur like a perfume. She made her happy-go-lucky way towards the large house coming up to it to let her sniffer do the job, markings?vacant? hmmmm seems many a dogs come in so she just helped herself her tail swaying lightly behind her as she entered that building. There seemed even a few dogs now, a lab mix with puppies running around inhabitted part of it whil'st what looked like four rotties took over a half of the room some low growls heard mabey some sniffs but she passe'd 'em to the back where there was a hallway torn up a bit finding her own spot to curl up in she did just that eager for some rest, or company...though the rotty approaching was not what she had in mind...

I lay silent in my decrepit, rotting room, chin on paws. This was not the life a dog should be living. How could the humans call themselves superior beings if they couldn't help us out? I remembered a few of my running buddies had gotten captured by the dog man, and taken to a shelter. Some of them got homes. The others I never heard about again. Word travels fast among stray dogs, and the stories I'd been hearing lately were no differrent from when I was a pup. It'd happened to my sire, and I felt at a loss, even though I'd never known him....
Something outside my room had stirred the other canines, and I lifted my head slowly, just in time to see a newcomer strut down the hallway. Boy, those smaller dogs were something. Silently I crept to the doorframe and peeked around, only to be brushed back by the rottie, who accidentally stumbled sideways. Stupid, clumsy oafs, those rottweilers. Vicious, but oafs all the same. I eyed the female, and then the rottie, feeling wary.

Chica's audits perked strait forwards moving towards the back of her head she wasnt a fan of rotties and these werent exactly showing her friendliness yet. As a low rumble from the rottie was heard....she couldnt help but feel small as she was. The rottie came up snapping a little bit his nose doing the job... she snapped at him drawing attention from the dogs now...Chica could hold her own though who knew with the rottys around as another entured closer Chica made her way into the larger area she didnt like being cornered....She let out a low growl but she looked quite submissive her head and tail lowering her whole body slowly lowering towards the ground as she knew that she could NOT win a fight like that, she' saw the other dog by the door as she was taking note of the dogs in here.......only peekng at him for the moment.

I felt my lips coil from my pearls in anger, and I knew I could take them if anything happened. My breed was larger than the rottie's, and much more agile. But all of them though? My gaze averted to the small one which was the center of all this, and I watched her for a moment...
The crowding dogs not involved turned their heads when I emerged from my room, and some whispers went up. I'd never left my room like this before, out of cover from night and where they all could see me. It suprised them, and some recoiled, because my vennors still revealed themselves. A low growl errupted from my chassis, snarling and bubbling.

Chica was still recoiled and sitting there shewas a bit helpless and trying not to get anyone more aggrivated than be...After her family moved to the outskirts of town she'd wandered around a bit looking every now and then for places to stake out her mexican family of "humans" feeding her scraps every week or two when he'd drop by.
The rottys got closer forming a semi circle around her but the one seemed to look around seing diogi drop in they recoiled one turning towards him....the other advancing towards chica a bit agressively ut apparently very aware iof the larger dog...the third rottie now had gotten up from where he was before and beginning to make his way over to all the fuss....

The fur on my back pricked up, my ears flattened, and my tail held itsself high, in a dominant manner. I felt my lips coil to their full, and now every god forsaken fang in my jaws were revealed to the three disgraces. Picking on a smaller pup. No, I wasn't friendly to other dogs either, but I sure wasn't going to let one get mobbed up on for nothing.
I got closer, keeping an eye on the one nearing Chica, but holding the closest one 'hostage.' Snarling, I snapped right by his own muzzle, and directly after I leapt away, out of reach.
You..Go pick on someone your own size.
Such a traditional saying, yet I said it with such venom I scared myself. The rottie close to me came charging, and I bounded out of reach, causing him to run past, and then come back at me...

Chica wasnt fond of not being able to stick up for herself and she surely didnt like the fact that she couldnt do much to help....so she snapped at the one seeming to sneak around and near her....That proved bad idea and her yelp ried out afterwards when he snapped right back at her catching her shoulder as she jumped back her auds laid back and she tried holding her own a spot of red blood abot her.
She heard the other dog speaking he was quite large probably one of the largest she'd seen around and with his help she wasnt complaining a bit...the one rottie'd already gotten beaten up eneough and went back, the other that had just shown up was turning after having attacked her once towards the larger dog.....he looked uncertain and backed off towards the corner he came from only the one that ran past diogi went for him again

When I heard the yelp, I paid it no mind. Not that I didn't care if she was hurt, I was just preoccupied in trying to get the majority off her back. Besides, I'd taken on the largest, clumsiest. So, I was also protecting my own hide. When the big brute came charging back, I didn't escape without injury. No worries, just a rip across the edge of my mouth, little blood, big gash, lotta pain. Heh....
But he didn't escape injury either. Once he went past, I followed, and clamped my jaws down on his hide. I felt myself give a great jerk with all my might, and we both rolled in a fury of teeth and thrashing paws. It wasn't certain whom the victor was when we ceased, but he lumbered to the corner with the other one, and now I turned to Chica..

Chica had learned to be a bit cautious by this point and she watched the fight going on seing fur and blur and blood....finally they seperated the rottie going to his seperate corner...She watched the dog that'd helped...the other dogs seeemed to go back towhatever they were doing but they kept an eye on the big dog at the same time.
Chica neared the male there was some blood running from her paw but the gash on his face seemed much bigger. "er small black spot of a nose raised a bit in search and being a bit daring she neared his injury......almost to see if he was a'lright thinking of just walking past.. im chica she said as she in a dog sorta way examined his gash

Appearing un-battlelike now, I watched her approach and growled faintly. I didn't want her to touch it, or even look at it. I didn't know what pity or concern was, having never been much exposed to it.
"Don't touch me, Chica."
I responded lowly, the whites of my eyes showing. Looking fine except the gash, I stepped to the side and examined her.
"My name's Diogi, and don't get all mushy on me. I was just doing my job."

She backed off a little he seemed a bit hostile but Chica wasnt about to be hurt by it at all. She wasnt much exposed to emotion much at all either she was born with it it was chica she was a bit happy-go -lucky. Her head tilted to the side and even through the dirt and grime she had small round hazelish eyes that shined through staring at him
well i dont know who's mushy here but you are hurt and i you'd like to eat within the next few weeks youd let me take care of that she told him.....Chica'd been through just about everything...She'd moved around with her family of mexicans from place to place seing things that would make any two legged faint....she had a nurturing instinct about her but that was ravished by the thick streak of stubborn going through her blood

I turned and made sure she got an annoying brush in the face with my tail. I was not about to let some cutely stubborn female get to me. Nothing had ever gotten to me. It wasn't good to show much open kindness in a world like ours.
" I said no."
Simply stating my command, I began my retreat towards my room again, looking foward to the soft couch cushion that I slept on with an old baby blanket thrown over it..home sweet home.

She was more persistant than could be imagined She only took the brush in the tail as nothing more than a setback.....She'd set her mind and wouldnt let it go now probably..... She got up stretching a moment from her bloodied paws to her tail before following almost having o go at a slow jog to keep up with him.
She continued to follow though d'you have socialization issues or are you just shy she said with a bit of sass in her light higher pitched vocals.. Catching up her tail swinging lightly as she followed him continuously. She wasnt that easy to get rid of and his persistance to get away from her was all the more inviting for her persistance and interest

Was it visible that I was annoyed? Because she clearly wasn't heeding it. Turning my head back to watch her as I walked, I sighed. We were nearing my room, which filled me with relief.
" No. But I don't prefer socialization, either. It's only gotten me into trouble."
I turned my head back to watch in front of me, turning into my room. I headed to the cushion, picked the blanket up in my mouth, and flopped down, laying the cloth on the floor. It was too hot today to need a blanket. I eyed her silently.

She continued to follow him sitting in front of him after they'd entered her crania tilted to the side if you'd like to know about a fare share of dissapointment and pain try living with a family of moving mexicans she told him a bit of teasing tones in her voice...she had been through a lot but she could tell he had somethings tha happened that'd not screwed him up but had hurt him.
She sat down her long coat lying around her...she was beginning to drain though....he seemed not talkative a bit an her expression fell....she waited a moment just watching him before getting up...she traveled out of the room her round eyes turning to peer at him before making her way out sneaking towards the front door to hopefully stay out of conflict and try to find something to eat around here
