I trotted calmly into the ally. I saw a group of dogs, they were of unknown breeding, well at least to me, I wasn't an pro on dog breeds, I knew my own breed, Saluki, and a few more common breeds. They lifted their heads and looked at me but made no attempt to attack, I was common around these allies. I made my home in one of the small ones with a dead end. I was heading there now actually, but from my previous location I had to go through the worst area of the allies and I sure was glad the dogs here know me from Buster, or I would be fighting for life right now. These dogs aren't friendly with just any stray, you have to earn there respect or be a friend of a respected dog. Buster was pretty much the king of the allies, every dog who lived here knew him and half of them feared the giant black mutt. I was almost to my home when a dark chocolate dog stepped forward. I recognized it as Softy. She barked at me in greeting before continuing past me. I finally reached my small ally and laid on a shredded blanket, staring at the only entrance/exit of the dead-end ally boredom clear in my eyes.

I was moving along down the street, a very large anatolian shepherd. Most of the others stayed out of my way, but not out of fear. Some respect, maybe, but mainly because they knew I had a short temper, and preferred to be left alone. That was expected though, because most of them knew about my past. But someone caught my eye, and I knew who she'd been apprentice to. Although I didn't believe in status around here, I knew most of the dogs respected Buster. And feared him. I was an exception though, I didn't fear anything. Well, the only thing I feared was getting caught and chained, or killed. But I would even die before being contained like a pet. Watching her for a few more moments, I continued on my way, sniffing through some garbage and what not. This was one of the first times in a long time that I'd been out of the boarding house, and my chin was still ripped open from that fight protecting Chica.

I caught the scent of a unfamiliar dog near by. Lifting my head, my long-furred ears perked forward slightly in alertness. My gaze traveled out the entrance of my little ally until it landed on a dog I faintly recognize from seeing when passing the boarding house. I remembered Softy telling me the dog's name once but I didn't remember, besides I knew Softy, she wasn't good with names and often mixed up the names of dogs, never remembering a face with a name or a name with a face. I watch the dog for a minute before placing my head back down, as long as he didn't come into my ally I was fine and basically even if he did come into the ally as long as he wasn't coming to start a fight or take over the little ally I called home, I didn't really mind, I just didn't want trouble.

I sighed and continued on my way, snuffling around. There was nothing much to do but scroung for food, maybe raid the mcdonalds window area again. That was possibly the easiest way to gain fodder. I liked my chops and tasted the coppery consistency of dried blood and yawned. So, back to the boardinghouse, because I really wasn't all that hungry. But I also really didn't want to go home, because now I was considered something to fear there. Why? Shoot, I'd taken on three rotties, that's why. Of course, Chica had done some too, but enough of that for now. I sat upon my haunches, thinking.

I continued glancing at Diogi once in a while. Now I wondered if I should attempt to talk to him. I sighed and sat up, was I actually going to go talk to a dog I didn't know the name of that no one seemed to go too close to? Yeah I was, if he didn't want to be bothered I could head back to my little ally home. I stood and trotted over then stopped at the edge of my ally sitting down, now five feet away from him maybe. "Hello." I greeted, then went quiet, I decided not to say anything more then judge how he responds and if I should just leave him alone or not. Sounded like a good plan to me.

I turned my skull to observe the female close to me, slightly moving my ears back. But don't be mistaken, it wasn't in an agressive manner. I stood stiffly and eyed her for a moment, not really knowing what to do. Greet her in return? Why not..
"Hello..."
That was all I felt like saying for now, simply because I didn't know what else to. She didn't look like a street dog, definately not the one I pictured to be Buster's apprentice. But I also knew from expirience that looks were decieving..

I tilted my head and my feathered ears perked slightly. My unfortunately very purebred pet-like appearance standing out even more when I did this. Although I was far from a pet, I wouldn't let a human anywhere near me, but I indeed could easily be mistaken for a pet if I wore a collar. I thought for a moment before speaking. "I believe I've seen you by the boarding house a few times. I'm Rhythm, by the way." I said calmly my coco brown gaze focused on Diogi but occasionally shifting slightly to watch another stray somewhere in the ally.
